Every year, as we shift from one season to another, we begin to notice a variety of new beauty trends that have made their way into our favorite fashion/beauty magazines and onto the faces of our favorite celebs. This fall, the trends are not only wearable; they are quite sophisticated which is a welcome transition from the bronzed, sun-kissed beauty that ruled this past summer. Here are the top four trends we hope you “fall” in love with this autumn.

1. Dark & Dangerous - Everywhere you looked on runways from New York to Milan, the dark, goth-inspired lip ruled. Think deep plum or even a blackened red hue that makes a chic yet dramatic statement no matter who’s rocking it. I love the Milani Color Perfect Lipstick in Black Cherry for this look. The creamy finish is beautifully on trend as this look can be a bit too severe if you decide to go matte. Be sure to pair with the Milani Lip Pencil in Sugar Plum in order to get the most precise, stunning results.

2. Barely There – The nude nail trend is big for fall. It’s a definite departure from the traditional dark, inky shades that dominant during this time of the year. One thing to note about the nude trend is to opt for a shade that best matches your skin tone. I can’t get enough of Milani Nail Lacquer in Cappuccino and Bare Necessity.

3. Color Me Bad – A sultry smoky eye is a hallmark of autumn. Although most of us tend to gravitate towards the classic black smoky eye, the trend towards using color is one of the biggest beauty looks this season. Reach for Milani Shadow Eyez 12-Hour Pencils in Green Safari, Royal Purple and Brown Deluxe. The bendability of these smooth, creamy shadows is the perfect consistency to create the ultimate fall ready smoky eye.

4. Go Graphic - One of the most striking trends to hit runways and fashion magazines is the exaggerated eyeliner. In the past, the cay eye was seen as the go-to look when you wanted to create a demure yet flirty eye. Now, it’s all about drama so you’ll want to make sure you grab a Milani Eye Tech Extreme in Blackest Black to help you achieve a wide range of beautiful, daring looks.
